About

More about Me...
Who am I?
Having spent two decades working in evaluation and advisory roles, including co-leading one of the UK’s largest Policy and Evaluation Units, I bring a deep understanding of the challenges of leadership and consultancy, evolving personal identity, and the ongoing adjustments involved in building a working life that feels sustainable and fulfilling.
This professional journey, together with my own lived experience and commitment to self-awareness and personal reflection, shapes how I show up as a coach and thinking partner.
My approach to coaching
My coaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity for self-discovery, learning, and growth. I work in partnership with clients to explore what matters most to them, bring compassion and appropriate challenge to their thinking, and support meaningful change in ways that feel relevant and grounded.
This includes exploring inner narratives and the beliefs and patterns that shape how people respond to challenge and opportunity. It also involves developing a clearer understanding of the organisational environments people are working within, and how these shape expectations, pressures and possibilities. Together, this creates space for deeper reflection and perspective, supporting people to make more intentional choices about how they lead and work.
I work in a dynamic and responsive way, and draw upon a wide range of psychological approaches and behavioural insights, as well as my own lived experience. My work is tailored to each individual or team, and to the realities of their particular context.

Podcast
I was previously a guest on the Leaders in Conversation podcast with Anni Townend, where we explored:
-
How understanding and embracing your heritage can enable you to more fully connect with your passion and purpose;
-
How tuning into your strengths and into what comes naturally to you can open up new possibilities for exploring your leadership;
-
The beauty of the ‘reset’, and how discovering and using your ‘reset function’ can help you in re-evaluating and ‘course correcting’ your leadership as you go along.
-
The importance of having a support network who act as ‘thinking partners’ to help you stay ‘on course’.
